**Responsibilities**
- The primary function of this position is to monitor, analyze, respond, and resolve service outage events received from Internal IT monitored servers/network devices, and other infrastructure systems
- The NOC Admin will be responsible for addressing all issues that come through our monitoring tools, maintaining the tools and optimizing the tool to provide actionable alerts
- Review the existing SOPs, technical runbooks and also create new SOP documents/runbooks for innovative technologies/process.
- Provide Incident Response (IR) support when analysis confirms actionable incident.
- Provide regular updates over an outage period while escalating the incident to necessary parties as needed.
- Responsible for raising change management tickets and action them as required.
- Provide root cause analysis as well as resolution.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
- Must have hands on experience on Splunk.
- Must have knowledge on AWS.
- Must have experience on Linux.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, or any other related field.
- 2-4 years' experience in managing and troubleshooting L1 outages and reported events.
- Highly self-motivated, excellent time management and organizational skills, and ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks with mínimal supervision.
- Can hold team and self responsible for maintaining the highest possible performance standards and meeting agreed upon commitments even under difficult circumstances.
- Takes responsibility for outcomes of actions and decisions.
- Accomplishes tasks and activities efficiently and according to importance.
- Must possess excellent customer service, communication and problem-solving skills
- Collaborates within and across teams, functions, and stakeholders to support continuous process, product, and service improvement (through automation or other means)
- Demonstrates poise, maturity, and resilience with all audiences and circumstances.
- Basic knowledge of network switching/routing, Windows and Red Hat Linux server operating systems, VMWare, AWS, etc.
- Understanding and management of server hardware (like Dell iDRAC, HP iLO, etc)
- Expertise in working with various monitoring tools (like HP Open View, Nagios, Solarwinds, etc.).
- Strong research and highly analytical skills are required, especially with respect to event classification, event correlation, and root cause analysis.
- Must be a team player, dedicated, and proactively shares knowledge and best practices with others.
- Ability to clearly present technical approaches or findings in oral and written format.
- Experience in scripting and PowerShell a plus
- Preferred Certifications: MCITP, MCSA, VCP, CCNA, etc.
