**Job Title**: Purchasing person

**Job Type**: Full-Time

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Source and purchase electrical components, materials, and supplies needed for ongoing projects and inventory.
- Evaluate and select vendors based on cost, quality, reliability, and service.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers and vendors.
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate stock and timely replenishment of materials.
- Maintain and update supplier database, including contact information, pricing, and contract terms.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure material specifications and delivery requirements are met.
- Review and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Track order status and resolve any discrepancies or delays with suppliers.
- Analyze market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and potential risks in supply chain management.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in purchasing activities.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, including costs and any related warranties or service agreements.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- 2+ years of experience in purchasing, ideally within the electrical industry or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of electrical components, materials, and equipment.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and purchasing software.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Ambattur, Chennai, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

- Diploma (preferred)

- Purchasing: 1 year (preferred)
