
Kitchen and Canteen Supervisor

Prepares/cooks food items and dishes using the grill, flat top, oven, fryer, steamer, toaster/salamander, small kitchen appliances, and kitchen utensils, including various knives.
Prepares all food following recipes as written, Follows all kitchen portion control measures.
- Makes cooking adjustments to accommodate guest requests.Assists with maintaining proper inventory levels; Communicates with items with low inventory and may be responsible for making purchases within prescribed guidelines.Ensures all Kitchen procedures are followed, including proper receiving, storage, labeling, rotation, and portion control of food items; Follows cost containment and food waste best practices.Prepares thawing, prep work, side work, and stocking lists and cleaning assignments.Ensures all Environmental, Health, Safety, Cleaning and Sanitation policies and procedures are followed, and is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.Participates in employee performance evaluations.Prepares all food following recipes as written, Follows all kitchen portion control measures.Makes cooking adjustments to accommodate guest requests.Assists with maintaining proper inventory levels, Communicates with items with low inventory and may be responsible for making purchases within prescribed guidelines.Ensures all Kitchen procedures are followed, including proper receiving, storage, labeling, rotation, and portion control of food items, and follows cost containment and food waste best practices.

Experience: 1 to 3 years as a kitchen and canteen supervisor in the School, College and Hotel Industry. Knowledge of kitchen, food, and cleaning standards. Excellent supervisory, leadership, training, and communication skills. Strong customer service, time-management, organizational and interpersonal skills. Ability to work with mínimal supervision and be self-motivated.
