Key Responsibilities:
- **Financial Reporting**: Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
- **Accounts Payable and Receivable**: Manage all accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- **Bank Reconciliations**: Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- **General Ledger Maintenance**: Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
- **Budgeting and Forecasting**: Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, monitoring actual performance against projections.
- **Audit Support**: Prepare documents and provide support for internal and external audits.
- **Compliance**: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, including tax filings and regulatory reporting.
- **Expense Management**: Review and process employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- **Financial Analysis**: Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making processes and identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
- **Cross-functional Collaboration**: Work closely with other departments to provide financial insights and support business operations.
- **Skills**:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
