**Job Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:

- _Prepare and cook traditional South Indian dishes based on our restaurant's menu_
- _Ensure that all food items are prepared to the highest quality standards and within established timeframes_
- _Plan menus and create new recipes based on customer preferences and feedback_
- _Maintain an inventory of food supplies and equipment and order supplies as needed_
- _Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and food preparation areas_
- _Train and supervise kitchen staff, as needed_
- _Follow all safety and hygiene procedures, including proper handling and storage of food and equipment_
- _Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective operations of the restaurant_
- _Attend and participate in team meetings and training sessions_

**Requirements**:

- _8 years of experience as a South Indian cook in a restaurant or catering setting_
- _In-depth knowledge of South Indian cuisine and traditional cooking techniques_
- _Ability to prepare a variety of South Indian dishes, including dosas, idlis, vadas, sambar, rasam, chutneys, biriyani, South Indian non vegetarian and vegetarian dishes. _
- _Strong communication and interpersonal skills_
- _Ability to work well in a team environment_
- _Attention to detail and strong organizational skills_
- _Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment_
- _Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed_
- _Food safety certification is preferred_

**Salary**: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
