**Job Title: CNC Programmer (3-Axis, 5-Axis, and Sliding Head Machines)**

**Department**: Engineering/Manufacturing

**Reports to**: [Department Manager/Production Manager]

**Job Overview**:
## **Key Responsibilities**:

- **Programming**: Create and modify CNC programs for 3-axis, 5-axis, and sliding head machines using CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks, Esprit).
- **Machine Setup**: Set up CNC machines, including tool installation, fixture setup, and calibration, ensuring machines are running correctly and safely.
- **Production**: Operate CNC machines to produce high-precision parts and components in compliance with engineering specifications and quality standards.
- **Optimization**: Continuously analyze and optimize machining processes for cycle time, tool wear, and quality, while ensuring mínimal downtime and high production rates.
- **Troubleshooting**: Diagnose and resolve technical issues with machines, tools, and programs, making adjustments as needed.
- **Quality Control**: Ensure that all produced parts meet dimensional accuracy and surface finish requirements using inspection tools (calipers, micrometers,).
- **Documentation**: Maintain accurate records of machine programs, setups, and revisions; document any changes to the production process.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure smooth production workflows, troubleshooting, and meeting project deadlines.
- **Safety**: Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area. Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained to prevent accidents.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- **Experience**: Proven experience (5+ years) programming and operating CNC machines, specifically 3-axis, 5-axis, and sliding head machines.
- **CAD/CAM Knowledge**: Proficiency in CAD/CAM software for CNC programming (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks).
- **Technical Understanding**: In-depth understanding of CNC machining processes, tooling, and part fixturing.
- **Attention to Detail**: Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications with a high level of accuracy.
- **Problem Solving**: Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to identify and resolve issues quickly to minimize production delays.
- **Quality Focus**: Commitment to producing high-quality products with mínimal defects and adherence to stringent engineering specifications.
- **Communication**: Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members, engineers, and management.
- **Education**: A relevant technical qualification (e.g., CNC programming, engineering, machining) or equivalent experience.
- **Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience with multi-axis CNC programming and advanced machine setups.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
