- Bangalore**Job summary**
The Officer - Communication will be responsible for creating content for, and managing and monitoring the organization’s internal and external digital platforms and tools such as social media, e-newsletters, digital marketing materials, website and videos to position ChildFund as a leading and desired brand in the market. S/ he will collect information and develop/ edit content as per the need and guidelines of the organization. S/he will ensure brand compliance within the organization and play a critical role in designing and implementation of campaigns to promote the organization.**DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Oversee management of organization’s all social media accounts.
- Design and drive strategic content marketing initiatives such as content planning, development and optimization across different online and social media channels and digital touch-points
- Create and execute marketing campaigns including branding, online content strategy, social media campaigns etc.
- Develop engaging, creative, innovative content for online and social media such as articles/blog posts and marketing messages.
- Lead community engagement activities including prompt communication and handling of feedback.
- Audit social media presences and analyze social media campaigns with tracking systems to gather visitor data, determine efficacy and areas for social media campaign improvement and digital advertising costs and returns.
- Work with other departments to develop social media timelines and posts.
- Visual asset design/creation and image content creation including editing of banners, images, landing pages, EDMs, etc.
- Continuous review and active management of the website and all digital assets.
- Support in developing, modifying and producing high quality marketing/promotional material for fundraising, grants supported projects and programs.
- Ensure brand compliance and support in training concerned staff on branding and communication to streamline the communication process.
- Provide proactive, strategic, high-touch communications support and advice ChildFund in India on internal and external communications, as appropriate, to protect and enhance the organizations’ reputation and brand.
- Any other tasks assigned by the Line Manager.

**QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE/ COMPETENCIES**
- A bachelor/master’s degree in Communication/ Journalism /Marketing Communication.
- 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in communications and social media marketing in an NGO/INGO.
- A portfolio.
- In-depth understanding of digital content and campaign development, with experience in promotional plans.
- Superior writing and editing skills, excellent oral communications skills; fluency in English required.
- Good interpersonal skills, including ability to work effectively as part of a local team, and across organizational lines and geographic boundaries.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects concurrently.
- Good computer skills, including Word-processing, desktop and web-based publishing.
- Be an organized, team player, punctual, self-starter and results-oriented individual.
- Be gender sensitive with strong conviction and skills for the empowerment of excluded and disadvantaged children.
- Knowledge of working on multiple designing software and copywriting for multimedia platforms, photo and video editing will be an added advantage.
