Job Description: Lecturer/Assistant Professor of BCA (Computer Science and IT)

Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities

1. Teaching & Academic Duties:
Teach computer languages such as PHP,.NET, Java, JavaScript, HTML, and SAP effectively.

Train students in practical aspects of IT, including hands-on coding, software development, and database management.

Prepare detailed lesson plans, course materials, and assignments tailored to the syllabus.

Mentor students on projects, internships, and career-oriented skills.

2. Examination & Evaluation:
Design, administer, and evaluate internal assessments, midterms, and final exams.

Check and evaluate answer scripts, ensuring timely feedback to students.

Monitor student performance and provide additional academic support where necessary.

3. Student & Parent Interaction:
Handle queries and concerns raised by students and their parents.

Guide students on academic and professional challenges and ensure their overall development.

Maintain discipline and foster a positive learning environment within the classroom.

4. Administrative Responsibilities:
Assist in coordinating departmental activities, seminars, and workshops.

Maintain and manage student records, attendance, and academic progress reports.

Participate in curriculum development, accreditation processes, and academic audits.

5. Training & Development:
Conduct training sessions on emerging IT trends and technologies like Data Science, SAP, AI, and ML.

Stay updated with advancements in computer science and integrate them into the teaching curriculum.

Prepare students for industry requirements and placements by imparting relevant technical skills.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Educational Qualification: Master’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (MCA, M.Sc. IT, or equivalent).

Experience: Minimum 2-5 years of teaching experience in a college or university.

Proficiency in programming languages like PHP,.NET, Java, JavaScript, and HTML.

Expertise in DBMS, Computer Networking, Data Science, and SAP.

Strong knowledge of modern teaching methodologies and academic management.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
Preferred Attributes:
Experience in guiding students for industry-related projects and certifications.

Ability to effectively manage academic schedules, examinations, and extracurricular activities.

Demonstrated passion for teaching and mentoring students.
