**Job Description: Chemistry Professor (FYJC & SYJC)**

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- **Plan and deliver high-quality lectures in Chemistry for FYJC and SYJC students.**
- **Prepare lesson plans, teaching aids, and practical demonstrations aligned with the Maharashtra State Board syllabus.**
- **Conduct laboratory sessions safely and effectively, guiding students through experiments and reports.**
- **Prepare students for internal exams, HSC Board examinations.**
- **Develop and evaluate assessments, assignments, and model tests.**
- **Monitor student progress and provide academic support, doubt-solving sessions, and mentorship.**
- **Participate in departmental meetings, parent interactions, and academic planning.**
- **Maintain academic records, attendance, and internal marks.**
- **Create a motivating classroom environment that promotes curiosity, discipline, and critical thinking.**

**Qualifications**:

- **M.Sc. in Chemistry (Organic/Inorganic/Physical/Analytical)**
- **B.Ed. is mandatory**

Key Skills & Competencies
- **Ability to connect with teenage learners and simplify complex topics**
- **Classroom management and student engagement skills**
- **Excellent communication (English, Marathi/Hindi preferred)**
- **Familiarity with HSC Board paper patterns, evaluation standards**
- **Tech-savvy: use of smartboards, presentations, online platforms (Google Classroom, etc.)**
