**RequirementsEducational Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in **Mechanical Engineering** (mandatory).DIPLOMA
- Additional certifications in **industrial safety, production management, or plant operations** are preferred.

**Experience**:

- **8-10 years of experience** in a **steel plant** or **heavy manufacturing industry**.
- Hands-on experience in **production processes, mechanical maintenance, and shift management**.
- Exposure to working with **hot rolling mills, furnaces, casting units, and mechanical utilities** in a steel plant.

**Skills & Competencies**:

- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Technical knowledge of **steel production processes, machinery, and maintenance**.
- Proficiency in **troubleshooting mechanical and operational issues**.
- Understanding of **safety protocols, ISO standards, and regulatory compliance**.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in **ERP systems, SCADA, and other plant management tools**.
- Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions.

**Job Description & Key Responsibilities1. Shift Supervision & Production Management**
- Oversee **entire plant operations** during the shift, ensuring smooth workflow.
- Manage production targets and ensure **timely completion of manufacturing schedules**.
- Ensure **quality control** at every stage of production.
- Coordinate with **maintenance, logistics, and quality control teams** to minimize downtime.
- Monitor **raw material usage, process efficiency, and equipment performance**.

**2. Equipment & Mechanical Maintenance**
- Ensure the **proper functioning of mechanical systems, conveyors, pumps, and hydraulic units**.
- Conduct **routine inspections** to detect potential mechanical failures.
- Coordinate with **maintenance teams** for preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Minimize breakdowns and ensure **maximum uptime of production machinery**.

**3. Safety & Compliance**
- Enforce **safety protocols** and industry regulations to prevent accidents.
- Conduct **safety briefings** and train workers on best practices.
- Ensure compliance with **ISO standards, environmental norms, and labor laws**.
- Investigate and report **any incidents, near misses, or workplace hazards**.

**4. Team Leadership & Workforce Management**
- Supervise **machine operators, technicians, and shift workers**.
- Assign responsibilities and **ensure workforce productivity**.
- Provide **guidance and technical support** to the team.
- Maintain shift logs and **handover reports** for seamless communication between shifts.

**5. Troubleshooting & Emergency Handling**
- Quickly address **equipment failures, process deviations, or quality issues**.
- Implement **corrective actions** to minimize production loss.
- Ensure backup measures for **power failures, raw material shortages, and other contingencies**.

**6. Reporting & Documentation**
- Prepare **daily shift reports**, including production output, downtime analysis, and safety incidents.
- Maintain records of **machine breakdowns, material consumption, and manpower utilization**.
- Report key findings to the **Plant Head or Operations Manager**.

- **Achievement of shift-wise production targets** without quality compromise.
- **Minimal machine downtime** and efficient maintenance coordination.
- **Zero safety violations** and compliance with industry standards.
- **High workforce productivity** and smooth shift transitions.

**Working Conditions**
- **Location**: Steel Integrated Plant (On-site).
- **Shifts**: Rotational shift duties (day/night shifts as per schedule).
- **Reporting To**: Plant Head / Production Manager.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
