**Job Title: Store Incharge - Steel DivisionDepartment**: Stores & Inventory**Location**: [RAIPUR Location]**Reports To**: Plant Manager / Operations Manager**Industry**: Steel / Metal Manufacturing**Job Purpose**:
To manage and oversee all store activities including receipt, storage, issuance, and inventory management of raw materials, consumables, spare parts, and finished goods in a steel manufacturing environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Inventory Management**:

- Maintain accurate inventory levels using ERP or manual systems.
- Ensure regular stock audits and reconciliation.
- Monitor material movement to minimize wastage and ensure FIFO/LIFO practices.
- **Material Handling**:

- Supervise loading and unloading of steel materials, consumables, and tools.
- Coordinate with production and procurement departments for material requirements.
- **Documentation & Reporting**:

- Maintain GRNs (Goods Receipt Notes), issue slips, stock registers, and delivery challans.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external audits.
- **Team Management**:

- Supervise storekeepers, helpers, and forklift/crane operators.
- Provide training and enforce safety guidelines for store operations.
- **Coordination**:

- Work closely with Purchase, Production, Quality Control, and Accounts departments.
- Ensure timely dispatch and receipt of materials.
- **Safety & Compliance**:

- Ensure proper storage practices for steel coils, rods, billets, and chemicals.
- Comply with ISO, OSHA, and company-specific safety standards.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Diploma / Graduate in Logistics, Inventory Management, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a steel or heavy manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally, etc.).
- Familiarity with MS Excel and inventory management software.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Understanding of steel grades, weight measurements (MT, Kg), and safe stacking procedures.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
