Visual Designer

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full time
LOCATION: Mumbai
ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are looking for a creative Visual Designer to shape and own the user interface design of our products, website, social media pages and additional brand assets.

For this role, you will collaborate with a cross-functional team, including marketing, engineering and product team, to ensure our branding is consistent and appealing. If you have the ability to convey messages and information through illustrations, graphics, videos and patterns, we’d like to meet you.

Ultimately, you will design aesthetically-pleasing products that capture our brand and engage our audiences.

**Responsibilities**:

- Establish the look and feel for various interfaces, including websites, mobile devices, apps, kiosks, games and wearables
- Work within brand guidelines to create layouts that reinforce a brand’s style or voice through its visual touchpoints
- Design user-centered interaction models, wireframes or screen mockups.
- Design logos, icons and infographics
- Closely collaborate with IT and business teams to solve complex issues, like interaction models and data visualization
- Have basic coding knowledge so they can work hand-in-hand with coders
- Create and organize production assets
- Resize assets for different devices — tablet, mobile and web
- Source images (stock photos and video footage)
- Work with a component library
- Juggle multiple projects while effectively managing timelines and expectations

Qualifications:

- Proven work experience as a Visual Designer, UI Designer or similar role
- Portfolio of related works (e.g. logos, videos, animations and graphics)
- Hands-on experience with image editing and digital sketching software, like Photoshop, Indesign and Adobe Illustrator
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS; JavaScript is a plus
- Strong aesthetic skills with the ability to combine various colours, fonts and layouts
- Ability to meet deadlines while working on team projects
- Attention to visual details
- BSc degree in Design, Visual Arts or relevant qualification
