HOW A NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR ASSOCIATE WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Analyzes, administers and maintains voice, video, and/or data communications networks.
- Manages the usage and performance of voice, video and/or data communications networks.
- Maintains network security and ensures compliance with security policies and procedures through STIGs, IAVMs,
- Participates in aspects of major network installations and upgrades.
- Interfaces with vendors to ensure appropriate resolution during network outages or periods of reduced performance.
- Troubleshoots and resolves simple/associate/intermediate level problems.
- Manages the network components of a global information system.
- Patches/upgrades firmware/changes components and maintains the network
- Configures Switches, Routers, Firewalls and crypto devices.
- Helps with configurations and managing of Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)
- Participates in special projects as required.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

- Education: Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree - Bachelors Degree preferred, but not required
- Certifications: DoD 8570 IAT Level II (CCNA Security Training, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, or SSCP) to start: Computing Environment certification such as CCT, CCNA or similar technology within 6 months of hire
- Required Experience: 0-1+ years of related experience in IT field, preferred Networking
- Required Technical Skills: Switches, Network
- Security Clearance Level: Interim Secret to start
- Required Skills and Abilities: Communication, problem solving, etc
- Location: On Customer Site Ft. Huachuca
