**Associate, Communications**

Who can apply?

Graduate in communication, mass media, marketing, journalism or a related field with minimum of 1-2 years of experience in communications, content creation, social media management, public relations or related roles.

**Salary range - **₹ 3.50 to 4.50 LPA + PF + Medical insurance + Allowances
**Reports to -** Senior Consultant, Communications & Business Development (BD)

**Purpose of the Role**:
The Associate, Communications plays a crucial role in supporting Atma's communication efforts and enhancing its brand presence. This role is responsible for executing communication strategies, creating highly engaging and creative content and managing Atma's online presence across various digital platforms. The Associate will work closely with the Senior Consultant, Communications & BD to ensure effective and consistent communication with internal and external stakeholders.

**Main Responsibilities**:
**Content Creation and Management**:

- Design and create engaging content for various communication channels including website, social media, reports and marketing materials, ensuring consistent branding and messaging across all communication collaterals.
- Assist in the creation of communication documents such as annual reports, case studies and multimedia content, by creating high standard visually appealing designs, infographics, illustrations using professional design software.
- Collaborate with the programmess and BD teams to gather and showcase success stories, case studies, and testimonials.
- Update and maintain Atma's website with relevant and engaging content in collaboration with the website maintenance service provider.
- Occasional photography and videography assignments to showcase Atma’s impact through compelling visual content for communication materials (good to have).

**Social Media Management**:

- Execute the social media strategy developed by the Senior Consultant to increase Atma's online presence and engagement.
- Create and curate engaging social media content, including text, images, videos and infographics, following the social media calendar.
- Analyse and report on social media metrics and performance, providing insights to the Senior Consultant.

**External Communication and Stakeholder Engagement**:

- Support the Senior Consultant in executing communication campaigns and initiatives.
- Assist in the coordination and promotion of Atma's events, workshops and webinars.
- Contribute to the development of marketing and promotional materials, following the branding guidelines set by the Senior Consultant.
- Collaborate with the programmes and BD teams to gather and disseminate relevant information to stakeholders in the form of reports.

**Expected Skills, Knowledge and Expertise**

**Skills**:

- Interpersonal skills: Collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders
- Language skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Creative content, graphic designing and presentation: Develop engaging content and visually appealing graphics (infographics, illustrations and layouts) that effectively communicate key messages and align with branding guidelines.
- Research and attention to detail: Conduct thorough research and ensure accuracy
- Documentation: Maintain clear and organised records of communication materials, collaterals, assets and processes
- Teamwork: Work collaboratively within a team, contributing ideas and providing support

**Specific Knowledge and Experience**
- Image and video editing tools: High proficiency in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite and video maker software
- Social media platforms: Strong understanding of Instagram, LinkedIn and best practices for engagement
- Basic marketing and branding: Familiarity with marketing principles and branding strategies for NGOs (good to have)
- Website content management: Ability to work with website developers to provide content and ensure updates
- NGO or social impact sector experience is preferred
