- Experience in Migration of Database from Oracle to AWS Aurora PostgreSQL
- Experience working with Enterprise RDBMS, handling database Development/Administration
- Ability to manage RDS servers. Should have hands on experience in writing SQL, managing indexes and schema.
- Operational experience in monitoring and tuning issues majorly involved in optimizing the performance and functionality.
- Operational experience in data migration at scale
- Lead and contribute to design discussions in a cross functional project setting.
- Develop database standards, guidelines and best practices.
- Experience in troubleshooting, tuning and optimizing performance of database servers.
- Experience in AWS DB services like DMS, SCT, RDS etc

Excellent in PgSQL, Strong in Database Concepts DDL, DML, Replication, Performance, Design, maintain and ensure high availability solutions including replication, clustering etc.
- Provide proactive and reactive data management support to ensure database security, integrity, stability and system availability

**Responsibilities**:
- DB Migration from Oracle to PostgreSQL and address implementation challenges
- Create the objects in the database, such as functions, triggers, indexes, etc.
- Monitor the performance of the database and ensure optimum performance.
- Identify potential issues in the database to solve them early.
- security and prevent any unauthorized access to the database
- Maintain database schema
- Manage database availability
- Give best practice guidance to the development team
- Resolve any data issues, Schema, Role management
