QC Garment" job description refers to a role in the garment manufacturing industry where the primary responsibility is to inspect and ensure the quality of garments throughout the production process, checking for defects in fabric, stitching, sizing, and overall construction, to meet company and customer standards by identifying and reporting any issues to maintain a high level of product quality; essentially acting as a quality control inspector specifically focused on apparel items. Key responsibilities of a QC Garment role may include: Pre-production checks: Inspecting fabric samples for color accuracy, weight, and defects before cutting. Cutting inspection: Verifying pattern accuracy and minimizing fabric waste during the cutting process. Sewing line inspection: Examining garments during production for consistent stitching, seam strength, and proper alignment. Checking for defects: Identifying flaws like loose threads, uneven seams, holes, misaligned prints, incorrect button placement, and other visible imperfections. Size and fit verification: Measuring garments to ensure they comply with size specifications and fit standards. Labeling and packaging checks: Confirming correct labeling and packaging details. Defect reporting: Documenting and reporting identified defects to production teams for corrective action. Quality control documentation: Maintaining detailed records of inspection findings and quality data. Collaboration with production teams: Communicating quality concerns to production staff and providing feedback to improve processes. Compliance with industry standards: Ensuring garments meet relevant quality standards and regulations. Skills and qualifications for a QC Garment role: Strong attention to detail and visual acuity Knowledge of garment construction techniques and sewing standards Ability to read and interpret technical specifications Basic understanding of fabric types and their properties Measurement skills and the ability to use quality control tools Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Experience in the garment manufacturing industry is preferred

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
