**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Research and Development**:

- Develop new formulations for lubricants, coatings, and related products.
- Enhance existing formulations to improve performance, stability, and cost-efficiency.
- Conduct competitive benchmarking and explore novel technologies in the field.
- **Testing and Analysis**:

- Plan, conduct, and document laboratory experiments to evaluate product performance.
- Utilize analytical techniques such as FTIR, NMR, GC, HPLC, and rheological testing to characterize products.
- Perform durability, adhesion, and compatibility tests for coatings and lubricants.
- **Product Scale-Up**:

- Collaborate with production teams to scale up formulations from laboratory to commercial production.
- Troubleshoot and optimize processes for efficient manufacturing.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate records of experimental data, procedures, and results.
- Prepare detailed technical reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- **Compliance and Standards**:

- Ensure all R&D activities adhere to industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
- Stay updated on REACH, ASTM, and ISO standards relevant to lubricants and coatings.
- **Collaboration and Support**:

- Work closely with sales, marketing, and technical service teams to address customer requirements and resolve technical issues.
- Provide technical guidance and training to team members and production staff.

**Required Skills and Competencies**:

- Strong understanding of organic chemistry, particularly polymer and additive chemistry for lubricants and coatings.
- Proficiency in analytical and testing techniques (e.g., FTIR, GC, rheometers).
- Hands-on experience in formulation development and process optimization.
- Problem-solving skills with a focus on innovation and efficiency.
- Excellent documentation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Familiarity with additives used in lubricants (anti-wear agents, friction modifiers) and coatings (binders, pigments, and solvents).
- Knowledge of sustainable and bio-based solutions in lubricants and coatings.
- Experience in scaling up formulations from lab to production.

**Location : Nashik, Maharashtra**

**Qualification : MSC in Organic Chemistry**

**Experience : 2-3 Years of experience in R&D**

**Salary : 2.5- 3.5 LPA**
