Physiotherapy is a very promising, rewarding and a satisfactory profession as paramedical science has a larger role & responsibility in a hospital scenario. After clearing the licensing examination of a given country, it opens up wide opportunities for the physiotherapists in the health industry.

**Role and Responsibility**

1. Prescribing remedial exercises.

2. Muscle strength evaluation & quantification.

3. Physical treatment by electrotherapy modalities like diathermy, ultrasonic therapy, contrast bath, cryotherapy, hydrocollator, whirlpool therapy, trans-electric muscle stimulation, infra-red therapy, ultraviolet therapy etc and also different therapeutic exercises by automated machines.

4. Evaluating balance in neurologically affected patients.

6. Wheelchair and gait training with or without ambulatory aids.

7. Aid in-home evaluation to make the environment barrier-free and accessible.

**Skills Required**:
Educational qualifications and experience required for this post is as follows:
1. Should be MPT Graduate.

2. Should have 03 years and above in teaching Cardiovascular & Pulmonary Sciences.

3. Having research publications in high impact factor journals.
