**Who is an Assistant Professor Statistics**?

An Assistant Professor Statistics is a statistics professor who will work to support the activities of the senior professor to compute and analyze data using statistical formulas, computer, calculators, etc. He will assist the professor to track results of surveys gathered to manage and summarize the data.

**Assistant Professor Statistics Responsibilities**

Let us take a look at some of the responsibilities of Assistant Professor Statistics:
Supervise over the student’s projects to do experimental design and data analysis on proposal preparation, design of studies, survey design, implement data import and export, analysis of data, interpretation of results and presentation of the results by following a relevant systematic procedure. His responsibilities would include rendering services to conduct research, and take part in interdisciplinary research through cross reference as well contribute to teach graduate and undergraduates. Plan, discuss and execute student oriented programs to help in encouraging the students to excel.

**Skills required Assistant Professor Statistics**

He has to have knowledge of use of computer and statistical software to be used in analysis of reports, to compile of statistical analysis of graphs and charts to interpret the findings of the analysis. Needs to be proficient in spoken language with an excellent rapport with the students to help them to come in par with the necessary computational skills to handle complex real world problems through innovative teaching methodologies in order to enhance the standards of education.
