Introduction
The BUK Compliance Insights AVP is part of the Barclays Global Service Centre, India (BGSC) Compliance Team working directly with BUK Compliance Business Oversight. The role holder will perform a broad range of Risk & Control activities across relevant BUK businesses, working closely with the BUK COO and Retail and Business Product Business Oversight Compliance Teams in the UK.

What will you be doing?
- Design and produce a monthly Compliance insights and data pack for relevant BUK Compliance teams (i.e Business Banking, Customer & Digital, Life Moments, Everyday Money Management), identifying areas of potential conduct and reputational risk to drive proactive oversight and challenge.
- Drive input and insight into the monthly data insights dashboard for the BUK Compliance Management Team
- Undertake specific data and insight deep dives projects as required to inform wider strategic oversight and challenge activity within the vertical business areas Examples may include analysis of complaints and risk and control issues/ events.
- To maintain Compliance Consumer Duty KI dashboard and drive usage through working across teams on key themes

Support core BUK Compliance oversight (BOC) activity:

- Lead co-ordination of Compliance involvement in the annual risk assessment methodology (the One Risk Assessment (OneRA)) throughout the end-to-end process, leveraging BUK Compliance colleagues for SME input, and driving consistency of check and challenge across BUK verticals
- Lead coordination of feedback on Quarterly Conduct and Reputational Risk Dashboards, leveraging broader SME input from colleagues as required. Responsible for summarising key points of feedback, check and challenge to inform discussion with BUK Compliance Senior Management, sign off and BUK CMT calibration sessions with focus on areas of commonality / divergence across BUK verticals to ensure consistency in approach
- Support completion of the Compliance role in Product Reviews and Consumer Duty Fair Value Assessments
- Leverage the above activity to identify areas of thematic focus for BUK as a whole.
- Provide insight into best practice and identify examples of such and shares this with wider BUK Compliance teams to drive consistency.

What we’re looking for:

- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills at a senior level.
- Ability to work remotely with multiple stakeholders
- Proven communication and problem-solving skills. Creative thinking and strong judgment and decision making.
- Experience around designing MI dashboards, analytics and insights
- Understanding of new technologies and the use of Data in banking organisations.
