You will be working as Material Planner and will be part of Electrification business area for Smart Power division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Planning & Fulfillment Manager and will be responsible for end-to-end planning of inventory including sales in excess of invoicing from purchase requisition to customer invoice.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Translating projected forecasts, incoming volume and working scopes into a production plan with a time-phased build schedule
- Working with customer service to provide appropriate delivery date and material planners to convert the supply plan into a master production schedule
- Calculating and maintaining the planning systems and the ERPs the inventory parameters
- Collaborating with buyers for obtaining the best possible supplier performance in terms of supplier on-time delivery, MOQ, quality, lead-time and flexibility
- Working with operations buyers to align planning of material with call offs and ensuring that purchase requisitions are converted into purchase orders
- Taking appropriate action for optimizing inventory performance, in collaboration with sales, marketing, manufacturing and procurement and logistics

**Your background**:

- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in material Planning, production or capacity planning
- Working experience in SAP PP or MM is must
- Must have good planning and purchasing skills
- Excellent communication with an ability to influence both internally and externally
