Position Overview:
WinCenter team supports global sales professionals in driving growth across all Zones offerings. The Bid Architect will lead RFx efforts for all professional and managed services offerings (Workplace, Network, Cloud & Data Center, Security, end to end Device Lifecycle Management). You will lead large and complex RFx’s that may cut across offerings and will be the overall storyteller. This means that you will be responsible for developing the solution strategy, win themes & value propositions/differentiators that will help position Zones to win. You will be engaged from opportunity qualification through closure, and be on point for crafting high-quality, concise, compelling, and competitive solutions that align to customers business outcomes. You must have the experience of working with large global technology systems integrators and know how to navigate your way around offerings, capabilities, accounts, and partners to craft a compelling solution.

What you’ll do as the (Bid Architect):

- Overall, 12+ years of work experience in the corporate environment with strong technical, analytical and solution skills.
- Exposure in Customer Solution in the Bid or Proactive Opportunity
- Architecture Frameworks, Large, strategic & complex deals/bids, lead solution development, multi-tower(Digital Workplace, Network Modernization, Cloud & Security), win-theme/strategy, presales, techno commercial, thought leadership.
- Determines strategies, architectures and proposals
- Lead a Team of Solution Architects and SMEs to deliver a Solution for Customer
- Working with design team, defining the approach to a complex solution development including identification of strategic level risks and remedies
- Contribute in building the opportunity business case and qualifying the business
- Providing presales support to include consultancy around the current cost of delivery, potential solution models and approaches, benefits analysis and input into provocations and early engagements
- Validate Bid Budget.

- Should be participating in Orals post RFP/RFX gets shortlisted.
- Contribute to the assessment of bid budgets and plans with the sponsoring executive in order to manage the deliverables, control of costs, quality and time
- Experience of working on at least 4 - 6 large and complex deals that are more than 100Mn USD TCV
- Lead scoping workshops and the production of a storyboard to an appropriate level of detail
- Define Solution Tenets and Solution Theme. Create a High-Level solution blueprint for the opportunity, identifying the key solution elements, operating model, and delivery approach
- Work with customers to understand their business strategy and develop IT strategies and architecture for significant areas of their business
- Identify solution options that are competitive and that offer the best fit against the customer requirements, exploring all solution possibilities (standard and non-standard service offerings) and challenge line of business/service tower status-quo, where necessary
- Solution validation and compliance. Actively, manage and coach medium solution teams to ensure what is being designed meets the requirements, is deliverable and is optimized, utilizing best practice where possible to create differentiation against the competition and value add for the customer
- Consolidating the Solution together with Inputs from the Tower Leads, SMEs and Domain Architects
- Take ownership of the end-to-end solution throughout the solution design lifecycle including its shaping, construction and reviews ensuring that all solutions have undergone peer review from management or delegate.
- Contribute to the proposal deliverables and authoring activities taking ownership of the solution overview and any assigned response sections and provide guidance, support and coaching to authors and other contributors
- Participate in bid assurance, bid reviews, and defend the solution. Ensure all solution elements fully comply with the company’s governance and approval process
