**Overview**:
The Emergency Call Handler in the Video Monitoring Center is responsible for monitoring live video feeds, handling emergency calls, and coordinating responses with relevant authorities. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, the ability to stay calm under pressure, and fluency in English to communicate effectively with callers and emergency services.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Monitor Video Feeds**:
- Continuously observe live video feeds from various locations to detect and assess potential security threats or emergencies.
- Use video surveillance equipment and software to identify suspicious activities and ensure public safety.
**Emergency Call Handling**:
- Answer emergency calls promptly and professionally, gathering critical information from callers.
- Provide clear and concise instructions to callers in distress while maintaining a calm and reassuring demeanor.
- Document call details accurately and promptly in the system.
**Coordination with Authorities**:
- Dispatch appropriate emergency services (police, fire department, medical teams) to the incident location based on the information gathered.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a cohesive response to emergencies.
**Reporting and Documentation**:
- Prepare detailed incident reports for each emergency call and video monitoring activity.
- Maintain accurate logs of all activities, including calls, incidents, and responses.
- Assist in the preparation of periodic reports for review by management.
**System Maintenance and Troubleshooting**:
- Perform routine checks on video monitoring equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Report any technical issues or malfunctions to the technical support team for immediate resolution.
**Qualifications**:
**Education**:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in emergency response or security is a plus.
**Experience**:
- Previous experience in a similar role, such as emergency call handling, security monitoring, or customer service, is preferred.
- Familiarity with video surveillance systems and emergency response protocols is an advantage.
**Skills**:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to remain vigilant and focused for extended periods.
- Ability to stay calm and composed under pressure, especially during high-stress situations.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and software related to video monitoring and call handling.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
**Other Requirements**:
- Ability to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- A clear background check and drug screening may be required.
**Working Conditions**:
- The role is primarily based in a secure, indoor monitoring center.
- May involve extended periods of sitting and using computer monitors.
- Occasional exposure to distressing or sensitive content while monitoring video feeds and handling emergency calls.

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
