Job Profile_

1. Research & Project Execution:
Project Management: Lead and implement project activities across TERI-s research programs, ensuring timely execution of deliverables.
Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to Research Associates (RAs) and interns to develop their skills and ensure quality output.
Research Development: Contribute to the conceptualization, planning, and design of research projects, including conducting literature reviews, data collection, and analysis.
Proposal Writing: Develop and draft research proposals in collaboration with senior colleagues, aligning with TERI's thematic focus areas and identifying new funding opportunities.
2. Knowledge Generation & Dissemination:
Research Reports & Publications: Contribute to the writing of research reports, policy briefs, journal articles, and other dissemination materials. Ensure that all research outputs are rigorously reviewed and meet TERI-s standards for academic excellence.
Conference Participation: Present research findings at conferences, workshops, and seminars, and represent TERI in relevant forums to enhance its thought leadership in sustainable development.
Educational Programs: Participate in the design and delivery of education and capacity-building programs, contributing to TERI-s outreach and knowledge-sharing activities.
3. Continuous Learning & Collaboration:
Subject Matter Expertise: Stay abreast of the latest trends and developments in the field of economics, energy, environment, and sustainability. Continuously update knowledge and skills relevant to TERI's thematic areas.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain a strong network of collaborators, including academic institutions, government agencies, NGOs, and industry partners, to facilitate knowledge exchange and foster long-term partnerships.
Internal Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues across TERI-s diverse research areas to ensure interdisciplinary collaboration and integration of insights across projects.
4. Data Management & Compliance:
Data Analysis: Conduct quantitative and qualitative data analysis, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and consistency with TERI-s research methodologies.
Record Keeping: Maintain detailed and accurate records of all research activities, including experimental data, meeting notes, and communications with stakeholders.
Quality & Safety Compliance: Adhere to TERI-s quality assurance protocols, including ISO, HSE, and other safety guidelines. Ensure that all research practices comply with ethical standards and legal requirements.
5. Strategic Development:
New Initiatives: Contribute to the strategic development of TERI by identifying emerging research areas and proposing new initiatives that align with TERI-s mission of promoting sustainable development.
Funding & Grants: Identify and pursue funding and grant opportunities from government bodies, international organizations, and private sector stakeholders. Contribute to the preparation of detailed budge
- Experience_

5 - 10 Years
- Qualification_

Master-s Degree (M.Sc.) in Economics
- with a focus on environmental economics
- energy economics
- or a related field. A Ph.D. in a relevant area would be an advantage.
