The Credit Initiation Team Lead is an entry level position responsible for assisting in assessing the ability of individuals, companies and institutions to meet the demands of loans, agreements and extended obligations in coordination with the Operations - Services team.The overall objective of this role is to minimize threats to the company by determining the terms or level of credit that can be granted without undue risk. **Responsibilities**: - Allocate work as a team leader over credit initiation specialists, delegating and supervising tasks - Train and coach credit initiation specialists and use credit knowledge and signing authority to manage exceptions - Ensure the integrity and confidentiality of customer documentation and recorded information within computerized systems - Interpret procedures and policies to guide support staff in resolving complex problems - Ensure the quality of tasks and services provided by the team - Exchange information in a concise and logical way, while being sensitive to audience diversity - Fulfilling the clients’ necessities while providing an exceptional client experience is the expected behavior from all our employees and it will be measured by specific metrics. **Qualifications**: - Relevant experience in a related role - Fundamental understanding of procedures and concepts within own technical area - Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication **Education**: - Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience - **Job Family Group**: Operations - Services - **Job Family**: Credit Initiation - **Time Type**: Full time - Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
