**Job Summary**:
The Infection Control Nurse is responsible for implementing and monitoring infection prevention and control programs in the hospital. They ensure adherence to protocols, perform surveillance, provide education to staff, and assist in controlling and preventing healthcare-associated infections (HAIs).

**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Conduct routine surveillance of healthcare-associated infections (HAIs) and report trends.
- Develop, implement, and revise infection prevention and control policies and procedures.
- Conduct infection control audits in various departments (wards, ICU, OT, labs, etc.).
- Educate and train healthcare personnel on infection control practices, including hand hygiene, PPE usage, waste management, and isolation precautions.
- Monitor sterilization and disinfection procedures across the facility.
- Ensure proper biomedical waste segregation and disposal as per guidelines.
- Participate in outbreak investigation and implement control measures when required.
- Ensure NABH/NABL/JCI compliance related to infection control.
- Maintain documentation and generate regular reports on infection control indicators.
- Coordinate and lead infection control committee meetings.
- Collaborate with microbiology and housekeeping teams for infection risk mitigation.
- Stay updated with national and international infection control guidelines (CDC, WHO, ICMR, etc.).

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹50,144.39 per month
