**Wirecut EDM Operator ( Fresher / 1 - 4 Years Experience )** **Job Summary**: We are seeking a skilled **Wirecut EDM Operator** to set up, program, and operate Wire Electrical Discharge Machines (EDM) to manufacture precision components. **Requirement & Technical Skills**: **1. Machine Setup & Operation**: - Set up and operate Wirecut EDM machines according to engineering drawings and specifications. - Load workpieces, align fixtures, and set up the correct wire type, tension, and machine parameters. - Program EDM machines using CAD/CAM software or manual input when necessary. - Monitor the machining process and make adjustments as needed to maintain accuracy. **2. Quality Control & Inspection**: - Measure and inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and coordinate measuring machines (CMMs). - Ensure workpieces meet dimensional tolerances and surface finish requirements. - Identify and troubleshoot machining defects or deviations. **3. Maintenance & Troubleshooting**: - Perform routine machine maintenance, including cleaning, dielectric fluid management, and filter changes. - Diagnose and resolve minor mechanical or programming issues. - Coordinate with maintenance technicians for complex machine repairs. **4. Safety & Compliance**: - Follow all company safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). - Ensure proper handling and disposal of dielectric fluids and other waste materials. - Maintain a clean and organized workstation. **5. Documentation & Process Improvement**: - Maintain accurate job records, machining parameters, and inspection reports. - Work closely with engineers, programmers, and quality teams to optimize machining processes. - Recommend process improvements for efficiency, accuracy, and cost reduction. **Qualifications & Requirements**: **Experience**: Minimum **1 to 4** years operating Wirecut EDM machines (e.g., FANUC, Sodick, Mitsubishi, AgieCharmilles, etc.) **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in machining/CNC preferred. **Technical Skills**: Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T symbols, and CAD models. **Software Proficiency**: Experience with CAD/CAM software and G-code programming is a plus. **Attention to Detail**: Ability to produce precision parts with tight tolerances (± 0.0001"). **Problem-Solving**: Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting machine and process issues. **Qualification: DME in Tool & Die / Diploma In Mechanical Engineering** **Salary & Benefits**: - 15000 + OT (Fresher) - Experience as per Norms - PF, ESI, Gratuity, and Bonus - Casual Leave **Interview Details: (Direct Walkin)** **Date**: Monday to Saturday / Time: 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM **Location: Ambattur** **Contact**:HR (73055 83444 / 73583 87701) **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month **Benefits**: - Food provided - Health insurance - Provident Fund Schedule: - Day shift - Night shift Supplemental Pay: - Overtime pay - Performance bonus - Shift allowance - Yearly bonus Ability to commute/relocate: - Ambattur, Chennai, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred) Work Location: In person
