This role is for an Associate or AVP to lead our Structured Products Drafting team in Bangalore, an extension of our existing teams based in the UK. Our team provide legal documentation drafting and issuance support to cross-asset structured products businesses at a range of tier one Investment Banks.

Our team provide legal documentation drafting and issuance support to cross-asset structured products businesses at a range of tier one Investment Banks.
- Work along with and if needed manage a team of skilled drafting professionals, and the delivery of a note issuance drafting service, to our Tier 1 investment banking clients in the Capital Markets - Structured Products divisions;
- Report functionally to the Head of Documentation India and work along with global stakeholders where needed.
- In conjunction with the Head of Documentation India, own the day-to-day client service relationship for the documentation services provided by the Bangalore drafting team;
- Establish agreed procedures and an operating model to deliver outsourced drafting of legal documentation to Delta Capita’s investment banking client base supported by the Bangalore team;
- Develop and maintain template libraries for all payoffs and products supported by the Bangalore team;
- Draft and review legal documentation (Pricing Supplements, Final Terms, and ancillary documentation) for the most complex structured product transactions;
- Initiate process improvements and leverage Delta Capita’s technology and RAD development capabilities to enable partial or full automation of legal documentation;
- Build and maintain strong relationships with client contacts in Operations, Structuring, Legal and Trading.
- Previous supervisory experience of a transaction related support function. Extensive experience within the financial service industry drafting issuance documentation for structured products across all asset classes (Equities, Credit, Rates and FXO)
- Experience of successful team management, demonstrating career development and retention of key team members.
- Experience within the financial service industry drafting issuance documentation for securities or structured products, or complex or non-standard derivatives.
- Knowledge of Base Prospectuses and/or Structured Products Issuance Programmes.
- Strong track record of templating and automating document production
- Comfortable working with remote functional management and demonstrable understanding of the importance of communicating and escalating
- Highly organized and extremely detail oriented.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to prioritise workflow and that of a team in order to meet deadlines.
- Advanced Microsoft Word skills.
- 6-10 Years of experience
