**Job Summary**
We are looking for a knowledgeable and dedicated CHEF/COOK to work at Red Hill Nature Resort, Ooty.

About Red Hill Nature Resort: Red Hill’s is a heritage bungalow on a tea plantation that has been converted into a nature retreat. It is located 27 kms away from Ooty Railway station in the picturesque location of Emerald. Encircled by tea plantations and the Emerald Lake, Red Hill Nature resort has remained the undisputed aesthetic travel destination choice among tourists and sightseers alike.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
Key Responsibilities:

- Preparation of Resort Food Menu.
- Develop recipes and garnishing styles.
- Inspect supplies, equipment and work areas for cleanliness and functionality.
- Order and maintain inventory of food and supplies.
- Monitor sanitation practices and follow kitchen safety standards.
- Manage and train staff in line with standard operating procedures.
- Maintain a cordial relationship with guests to get a first time feedback about the
quality, variety of food items and service levels.
- Promotion of the goodwill of Red Hill resorts among the food connoisseur’s
community.

**Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications**
Key Skills:

- Excellent culinary skills.
- Customer friendliness and ability to work as a team is necessary.
- High level of expertise in guest hospitality and customer service.
- Comprehensive knowledge and exposure to different cuisines.
- Execution of culinary skills in a time bound and cost effective manner keeping in
mind the safety and hygiene.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and stay with us for minimum 2 years
