We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented **Editorial Assistant** to support our Senior Journalist at our **Nagpur office**. This role combines editorial support with basic digital publishing responsibilities.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist the Senior Journalist with research, interviews, and fact-checking for news stories and feature articles
- Help draft, edit, and proofread content for clarity and accuracy
- Format and upload articles to our website using **WordPress**:

- Coordinate with our Mumbai-based content team to publish daily updates
- Track deadlines and ensure timely delivery of editorial content
- Maintain organized digital records of articles, images, and sources

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, English, or related field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Hindi/Marathi a plus)
- Basic understanding of news writing and editorial standards
- Working knowledge of **WordPress** or willingness to learn quickly
- Strong attention to detail and time management
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

**Preferred but Not Mandatory**:

- Experience in publishing or journalism
- Familiarity with SEO for news articles
- Interest in regional news and local civic issues
