**About the Role**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and drive website traffic.
- Conduct detailed keyword research to identify target keywords and optimize content accordingly.
- Perform on-page optimization, including meta tags, title tags, headings, internal linking, image optimization, and URL structuring.
- Manage off-page optimization efforts, including link-building strategies, outreach campaigns, and relationship building with high-authority websites.
- Conduct regular technical SEO audits to ensure website health and compliance with search engine guidelines.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on website performance metrics (traffic, rankings, conversions) using tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
- Stay up to date with search engine algorithm updates, trends, and best practices to ensure continued growth in organic performance.
- Collaborate with content creators to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into content development.
- Optimize local SEO strategies, including Google My Business (GMB) optimization and local citation building.
- Work closely with web developers to resolve technical SEO issues (e.g., site speed, mobile-friendliness, structured data, etc.).

**Key Skills and Qualifications**
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience in SEO.
- Strong knowledge of SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, and Yoast SEO.
- Proficiency in web analytics tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic website development principles.
- Expertise in technical SEO practices, including site audits, schema markup, and canonicalization.
- Experience with keyword research tools and competitive analysis.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Certifications in SEO or digital marketing (e.g., Google Analytics Certification, HubSpot Content Marketing Certification).
- Experience with e-commerce SEO or large-scale websites.
- Knowledge of other digital marketing channels like PPC, social media, and content marketing.
