
Sales Executive

**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Identifying Potential Subscribers**: Conduct thorough research to identify universities, colleges, and libraries that would benefit from our platform. Utilize various resources to compile a comprehensive list of potential subscribers.
- **Needs Assessment**: Work closely with prospective subscribers to understand their specific requirements and preferences regarding academic content. Tailor presentations and proposals accordingly to address their needs effectively.
- **Data Analysis**:Analyze sales data and market trends to identify potential opportunities for growth. Utilize insights gained from data analysis to refine sales strategies and target specific segments effectively.
- **Negotiation and Closing**: Skillfully negotiate pricing and terms with prospective subscribers to secure purchase orders. Close deals in a timely manner while ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven track record of success in sales, preferably within the academic publishing industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends effectively.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing sales opportunities.
- Willingness to travel extensively to meet with potential subscribers and attend industry events as needed.
- Familiarity with scholarly publishing history, trends, and nuances is highly desirable.
