Production Operator I

Purpose:
On a daily basis performs shop floor material handling activity, Mold handling, Mold repair work, setting in order, co-ordination with warehouse for upkeeping the mold records, Seal production support etc. Good Communication skills are mandatory. Accomplishes work within existing systems and under supervision.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Participate in shop floor meetings.
- Prepares and participate in Job safety analysis discussion and tool box talk.
- Co-ordinates with stores team for material issue and return.
- Mold handling (loading/unloading of molds from heavy duty racks)
- Mold movement and making arrangement for pre-heating in the preheat oven.
- In-house rework on the molds for minor dents and others.
- Sorting, storing and managing the inventory for molds.
- Perform material movement using appropriate material handling equipment.
- Perform lifting, movement activity of heavy weight parts using EOT crane/ Electric Stacker/Pallet Trucks while performing assembly and disassembly.
- Support in surface production floor e.g. Seal trimming activity, extrusion support activity, material handling, packing activity, equipment maintenance support etc.
- Co-ordinate with inter departments and extend support.
- Operate temperature controlling systems (Ovens) for post curing activity.
- Prepare manifold & plumbing lines for respective testing’s.
- Performs 5S activity.
- Participate and support in incident investigation activity.
- Participate and support in stock physical counting activity.
- Provides input for document revision such as standard work instructions, capacity upgradations, process enhancement etc.
- Support manufacturing team in executing modifications and implementing them.

**Qualifications**:

- Education level: Diploma, ITI, 10+2
- **Experience**: Minimum 1 years of working exposure MSME industries.

**Specific skills**:

- Must possess a clear understanding of general math & have the ability to read, write & comprehend written and spoken English & Hindi.
- Ability to comprehend Technical drawings, BOM (Bill of Material), Operation & Maintenance procedures, Quality & Safety Documents.
- Must have tool room experience for minimum 1 year or above.
- Must be familiar with grinding, polishing and coating processes.
- Must have clear understanding and work experience in operating the monitoring and measuring equipment’s e.g. Vernier caliper, Micrometer etc.
- Must be familiar with lapping process.
- Welding experience will be provided with additional preferences.
- Must have experience in operating material handling equipment.
- Must be trained on operating overhead crane. Operating knowledge (with Valid License) of forklift would be an added advantage.
- Must be aware about Industrial safety standards.
- Knowledge of operating pneumatic operated high-pressure pumps/gas boosting stations would be an added advantage.
- Ability to perform dimensional inspection for heavy weight oil & gas equipment would be an added advantage.
- Operational knowledge of SAP various modules will be an added advantage.
- Ability to use computer or workstation. Should have proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- **Personal characteristics**: Good organizational skills. Should be able to read, write and speak English language.

**Training Requirements**:

- TFMC equipment operating procedures, TFMC safety program and other general industrial trainings.
- Additional TFMC training courses as outlined in the TFMC India Training Matrix

**Work Environment**:
Shop floor environment: Exposure to hazard such as pressure generating devices, overhead crane operations, Noise generating devices like compressors/gas, Hydraulic pressure, High temperature etc.

**Physical Demands**:Spends almost 90% of the time in shop floor for supporting in direct/indirect production activity. Spends 5-8%% of time arranging inventories in the warehouse, supporting in physical counting, cycle counting etc. 2-5% operating lifting equipment’s, climbing on the ladder to perform maintenance activities etc.
