**JOB OPPORTUNITIES**
ECOBARI founded by WOTR and 9 partners is working to promote scientific thinking and implementation among multiple agencies and organisations to upscale Ecosystem-based Adaptation (EbA) across India. ECOBARI will allow cross-sharing of knowledge and experiences to enable communities to restore and sustainably manage their natural resource base and biodiversity along the ecosystems they live in.
**National Coordinator - ECOBARI**

**Location**: Pune
**At ECOBARI you will**:
- Serve as the national coordinator for ECOBARI and represent WOTR in its role as the secretariat of ECOBARI under the guidance of the Director of W-CReS
- Coordinate the work of like-minded institutions within ECOBARI to upscale Ecosystem-based Adaptation for resilient incomes in India
- Actively liaise with members to plan and schedule activities of the collaborative that are in line with its Theory of Change - such as training and capacity building workshops, drafting joint policy briefs, etc.
- Seek to increase the impact of the collaborative through strategic communication with relevant stakeholders and media houses
- Work with the assistant coordinator as well as WOTR’s communications team to set up and manage its digital presence including but not limited to a website, a knowledge portal, and strategic social media presence
- Actively work in increasing the membership base of ECOBARI through campaigns, membership drives and targeted networking
- An M.Sc. (or equivalent) in Environmental studies, particularly natural resources and ecology, or other related fields
- 7 years or more of work experience in the development sector related environmental issues
- Demonstrated skills of project management, organising events and leading a team
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Knowledge of Hindi. Knowledge of other Indian languages will be an advantage
