Job Description: Housekeeping & Front Office Assistant Professor

**Position Title**: Assistant Professor - Housekeeping & Front Office
**Department**: Hospitality and Hotel Management

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Teaching & Mentoring**:

- Deliver engaging and interactive lectures in Housekeeping and Front Office Management to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Design curriculum and lesson plans that align with industry standards and educational objectives.
- Conduct practical training sessions in housekeeping operations, front office services, and guest relations.
- Supervise and mentor students during internships and industry training programs.
- **Academic & Administrative Duties**:

- Develop and update course materials, instructional resources, and assessments.
- Participate in academic research, seminars, and conferences to enhance knowledge and teaching practices.
- Ensure compliance with institutional policies and accreditation requirements.
- Assist in organizing department-level events, workshops, and guest lectures.
- **Industry Collaboration**:

- Foster industry relationships to stay updated on emerging trends and practices in housekeeping and front office management.
- Collaborate with hotels and hospitality businesses for student placements, industrial visits, and case studies.
- **Student Engagement & Development**:

- Encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and innovation among students.
- Provide guidance for projects, assignments, and dissertation work.
- Conduct periodic evaluations and offer constructive feedback to students.
- **Research & Development**:

- Undertake academic research to contribute to the body of knowledge in hospitality operations.
- Publish research articles and papers in reputed journals and conferences.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- **Educational Qualifications**:

- Master’s degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, or related discipline.
- PhD (preferred but not mandatory).
- NET/SET qualified (if applicable as per institutional norms).
- **Experience**:

- Minimum 2-3 years of teaching experience in Housekeeping and/or Front Office Management.
- Industry experience in housekeeping, front office operations, or hotel management is highly desirable.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Proficiency in hospitality management software and tools (e.g., PMS systems like Opera, Amadeus).
- Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations, front office procedures, and guest handling.
- **Soft Skills**:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to engage and inspire students.

**Compensation**:

- Competitive salary and benefits as per institutional norms.

Pay: ₹15,600.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
