We are a dynamic and fast-growing fashion brand, we in process of creating a small prêt line of clothing for women. With a focus on young and fuss free cuts and prints, we cater to women in the age group of 20-30, offering affordable yet trendy options. To support the expansion of our brand, we are seeking a talented and passionate Clothing Designer/ Merchandiser to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Trend Analysis and Forecasting:

- Stay abreast of the latest fashion trends, especially those relevant to clothing and the 20-30 age group.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging styles, colors, and design elements.

2. Design Conceptualisation:

- Collaborate with the creative team to develop fresh and appealing design concepts.
- Create design sketches and mood boards that resonate with our target audience.

3. Sampling and Vendor Coordination:

- Work closely with our set vendors to source fabric samples and coordinate the sampling process.
- Ensure timely and efficient communication between the design team and vendors.

4. Prototype Review and Adjustments:

- Evaluate sample prototypes to ensure they meet quality and design standards.
- Collaborate with vendors on necessary adjustments and refinements.

5. Production Coordination:

- Oversee the production process, ensuring timelines are met without compromising quality.
- Work closely with vendors to address any production challenges that may arise.

6. Cost Management:

- Collaborate with the production team to optimise costs while maintaining quality.
- Create costing sheets and finalising costing.

7. Quality Control:

- Implement and maintain strict quality control measures throughout the manufacturing process.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure the final products meet our brand standards.
- Genrating QC report.

8. Collaboration with Marketing Team:

- Work closely with the marketing team to align product launches with marketing strategies.
- Provide input on product descriptions and marketing materials.

9. Adaptability and Innovation:

- Demonstrate flexibility to adapt to smaller tasks and ad hoc resposiblites as you will be a part of a small team.
- Bring innovative ideas to enhance the brand's appeal and competitiveness.

**Requirements**:

- Proven 0.5 to 2 years’ experience as a fashion designer/merchandiser with a focus on women's clothing.
- Strong portfolio showcasing relevant design and merchandising experience.
- In-depth knowledge of fabrics, Gen Z fashion trends, and the target demographic.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in making presentations and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Merchandising, or a related field.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
