**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Patient Care**:

- Provide direct nursing care to critically ill and premature newborns.
- Administer medications, intravenous therapies, and blood products as prescribed.
- Operate and monitor neonatal equipment like ventilators, incubators, and cardiac monitors.
- **Monitoring and Documentation**:

- Regularly monitor and record neonates' vital signs (heart rate, respiratory rate, temperature, etc.).
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, including changes in condition and care provided.
- Ensure adherence to protocols for infection prevention and control.
- **Emergency Response**:

- Respond promptly to emergencies such as respiratory distress or cardiac arrest.
- Assist in neonatal resuscitation and stabilization during critical situations.
- **Parental Support and Education**:

- Educate parents on neonates’ condition, care needs, and feeding techniques.
- Provide emotional support and involve parents in their baby's care plan.
- **Team Coordination**:

- Collaborate with neonatologists, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals to plan and implement individualized care.
- Assist in procedures like intubation, central line placement, or lumbar punctures under medical supervision.
- **Quality Assurance**:

- Ensure adherence to NICU protocols and standards of care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and training programs to enhance NICU care.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- **Education**:

- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing from a recognized institution.
- Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) or equivalent is preferred.
- **Experience**:

- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in NICU or paediatric nursing is highly desirable.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Proficient in using neonatal monitoring and life-support equipment.
- Sound knowledge of neonatal pharmacology and nutrition.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Rotational shift

Supplemental Pay:

- Overtime pay

**Education**:

- Diploma (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Nursing: 3 years (preferred)
