**About the Role**
We are looking for a proactive and driven Sales Representative to lead and grow our presence in India, managing both direct sales opportunities and channel (partner) sales relationships. This is a hybrid role requiring a blend of strategic relationship-building and hands-on selling.
You will be responsible for developing new business, maintaining strong relationships with existing customers and partners, and driving sales growth across India. While you focus on sales and relationship management, order handling, customer support, and logistics will be managed by our Hong Kong office or local partners.
**Key Responsibilities**
- _Business Development:_ Identify and develop new business opportunities within key verticals (e.g., automotive, industrial automation, embedded systems).
- _Partner Management: _Build and manage relationships with distributors, resellers, and system integrators. Support partners with training, sales enablement, and co-marketing activities.
- _Direct Sales: _Handle direct customer accounts where needed. Develop proposals, conduct product demos, and close deals.
- _Market Strategy:_ Help define and execute the go-to-market strategy for India, in alignment with our global partner strategy.
- _Customer Relationship Management:_ Maintain regular contact with key accounts and partners to build loyalty and uncover additional needs.
- _Forecasting & Reporting: _Monitor sales pipeline, provide regular updates, and contribute to quarterly forecasts.
- _Travel:_ Visit customers and partners across India. Occasionally travel internationally for meetings, trainings, or events.
**Who You Are**
- You have experience in technical sales or partner/channel sales, ideally within the embedded systems, electronics, or automotive industry.
- You’re a relationship-builder with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
You’re structured, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently.
- You understand how to balance short-term wins with long-term relationship building.
**Requirements**:
- 3-5+ years of experience in sales, business development, or channel management.
- Background in electronics, embedded systems, or a related technical domain is a plus.
- Strong English communication skills (spoken and written).
- Based in India, ideally with access to a major metro area for ease of travel.
- Willingness to travel domestically and occasionally abroad.
**Nice to Have**
- Experience working with B2B customers in the automotive or industrial sectors.
- Familiarity with CAN, LIN, or similar communication protocols is an advantage.
- Previous experience managing a partner/reseller network.
Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
