**Position Summary**

We are looking for an Intake Coordinator Intern to join our team and assist our medical facility by welcoming patients and ensuring patient information is organized before their medical appointment. Able to answers the inbound phone calls, asks a series of questions for the purpose of collecting data, and then using the data to connect the caller to the appropriate service provider.

**Requirements**:

- Excellent communication skills since they work directly with a variety of patients.
- Proven work experience as an Intake Specialist or similar role
- Strong affinity for customer service
- Working knowledge of office management and filing systems
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Relevant training and/or certifications as an Intake Coordinator
- Ability to identify program service needs and make appropriate referrals

**Duties/Responsibilities**:

- Processes paperwork for every caller efficiently and in accordance with established protocols.
- Obtains pertinent information from every caller by interviewing them courteously and professionally Answers and screens every call
- Follow-up on referrals by contacting organizations to collect data
- Ensures that all Intake Forms are properly completed and filed

**Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)**
- Experience in US Healthcare Intake process
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and overall computer skills
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Strong quantitative and analytic skills
- Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing working environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills, and an aggressive approach to excellence
- Open to dynamic change and ability to thrive in such an environment
- Initiative to take on new tasks as necessary
- Education equivalent to a High school diploma, college degree preferred

Experience - 0-6 months with Excellent communication skills

**Location and Shift Timing**:
