- **Reservations and Seating**:Managing guest reservations, seating arrangements, and optimizing table turnover.
- **Maintaining Standards**:Ensuring the dining area is clean, organized, and well-stocked, adhering to hygiene and safety standards.
- **Inventory Management**:Assisting with monitoring inventory levels and potentially placing orders for supplies.
- **Collaboration with Kitchen**:Working closely with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food preparation and delivery.
- **Problem Solving**:Addressing any issues that arise during service, resolving conflicts, and finding solutions to ensure guest satisfaction.
- **Financial Responsibilities**:In some establishments, captains may be involved in tracking sales, managing costs, and ensuring accurate billing.
