Optometrist and Ophthalmologist

**Ophthalmologist( 1 to 5 yr Experience )**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Diagnose and treat eye diseases, injuries, and disorders.
- Perform surgeries like cataract, glaucoma, and LASIK.
- Conduct eye examinations and interpret diagnostic tests (OCT, Fundus, etc.).
- Prescribe medications or corrective lenses when required.
- Collaborate with optometrists and nursing staff for patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure follow-up.

- Team collaboration

**Optometrist( 1 to 5 yr Experience )**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct comprehensive eye exams and vision tests.
- Prescribe eyeglasses and contact lenses.
- Identify and refer complex cases to Ophthalmologists.
- Guide patients on eye care and usage of optical aids.
- Operate optical equipment like phoropters, autorefractors, etc.
- Maintain optical inventory and patient records.

**Skills Required**:

- Attention to detail
- Good communication and customer service
- Technical knowledge of optical instruments
- Recordkeeping and basic software proficiency
