
Receptionist/administration

**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Greet and welcome patients**: Provide a warm and friendly welcome to patients and visitors as they arrive at the hospital.
- **Manage appointments**: Schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
- **Admission & Discharge**: Assist patients with the check-in and check-out process, including collecting necessary documentation and information.
- **Maintain records**: Accurately enter and update patient information in the hospital's electronic health records system.
- **Billing and payments**: Process payments, issue receipts, and handle billing inquiries.
- **Coordinate with medical staff**: Communicate effectively with doctors, nurses, and other hospital staff to ensure efficient patient flow and address any issues.
- **Administrative tasks**: Perform general administrative duties, such as filing, photocopying, and maintaining a tidy reception area.
**Qualifications**:
- Graduation in any stream/High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in office administration or related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar customer service role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in using computers and office software (e.g., MS Office).
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Professional appearance and attitude.
