Associate - Sourcing & Procurement

The Lead Senior Procurement Analyst job obtains good/services required by the organization. Under limited supervision, this job analyzes data and documentation regarding products, vendors, costs, profit margins and shipments. This job reviews bid proposals, negotiates pricing and secures contracts within budgetary scope for a variety of goods/services.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Evaluates vendor quotes and services to determine most desirable suppliers.
- Negotiates with suppliers and analyzes suppliers' operations to determine factors that affect prices and to determine lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability, and ability to meet required schedules.
- Awards contracts to vendors within scope of authority.
- Prepares purchasing assignments requiring vendor selection and pricing comparisons.
- Reviews and approves necessary documentation detailing use of competitive bidding, obtaining purchase order approvals, and order expediting.
- Determines suppliers that meet the organization's standards of price, quality, timing, and reliability of supply.
- Develops policies and procedures for bid proposals and procurement of goods and services.
- Monitors the quality and timeliness of contracted goods or services and communicates with suppliers and operations staff on potential or actual problems.
- Coaches and reviews the work of lower level procurement professionals.

Educational Requirements
- University (Degree) Preferred

**Job Description**:
The Associate/Sr Associate is responsible for helping the procurement function on a variety of requirements which are pertaining to internal customers for employee engagement activities.

Roles’ Duties and Responsibilities:
The FTE would need to work very closely with internal customers on various requirements.

Sourcing, Co-ordination and execution:

- Co-ordinate with End User’s for forecast of requirements - Goodies, Events ,Off-sites, Team activities, Festive gifting, etc.
- Create catalogs for various categories
- Goodies, Food Vendors etc..
- Source Vendors for various categories like, Hotels, Gifting, Team bonding exercise, Restaurants discounts, Resort for Team events, transport etc..
- Negotiate with Vendors
- Contracting with Vendors and releasing of Purchase Orders
- Regular review of rate cards for categories and their catalogues
- Sharing information about catalogues with End user on a frequent basis
- Close co-ordination with Vendors and End users

Report & MIS
- Generate Monthly reports
- Create PO’s, Upload Contracts, Contract Negotiation, Follow Up on Deliveries
- Update Rate Cards on a monthly /quarterly basis : cases where there is a rate revision
- MIS of spend basis various BU’s.
- Tracking budgets allocated to BU’s from a sourcing perspective.

Supplier Performance Management:

- Collect and Analyze Vendor Performance
- Add or remove Vendors basis performance
