Anesthesia Technician

Prepare and maintain anesthesia equipment before, during, and after procedures
- Assist anesthesiologists with the administration of anesthesia
- Monitor patients' vital signs during procedures
- Ensure that all anesthesia-related equipment is functioning properly
- Sterilize and clean anesthesia instruments and equipment
- Assist with the transportation and positioning of patients
- Maintain accurate records of anesthesia procedures and equipment inventory
- Provide support during emergency situations involving anesthesia
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of anesthesia machines

Anesthesia Technician Qualifications & Skills
- Certification as an Anesthesia Technician
- Previous experience working in a surgical or medical setting
- Proficiency with anesthesia-related equipment and monitoring devices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with sterile techniques and infection control protocols
- Demonstrated ability to handle stressful situations calmly and efficiently
- Knowledge of anesthetic drugs and their effects
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited Anesthesia Technician training program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow precise instructions
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and assist with patient positioning
- Basic understanding of medical terminology
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
