Description
- We are looking for pediatric occupational therapist to assess a child's physical, cognitive and emotional abilities and limitations to determine their therapy needs and goals.
- From these assessments, they can then develop treatment plans that outline goals, interventions and timelines for the child.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' functional abilities, limitations, and goals related to activities of daily living (ADLs), instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs), work, leisure, and social participation.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, patient-centered goals, and evidence-based practice guidelines to promote optimal independence, safety, and quality of life.
- Implement therapeutic interventions and techniques to address specific challenges and improve patients' physical, cognitive, perceptual, sensory, and psychosocial functioning.
- Provide hands-on therapy, ADL training, adaptive equipment recommendations, environmental modifications, and caregiver education to support patients' functional independence and participation in meaningful activities.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including physicians, physical therapists, speech therapists, social workers, and educators, to coordinate care, establish goals, and ensure holistic treatment approaches.
