Orange Children's Development Clinic (OCDC) is seeking a passionate and skilled Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team dedicated to providing comprehensive care for children with developmental challenges. As an Occupational Therapist at OCDC, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to optimize the functional abilities and independence of children with various developmental disorders.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate children's motor, sensory, cognitive, and social-emotional development.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Provide evidence-based occupational therapy interventions aimed at improving children's fine motor skills, sensory processing abilities, self-care skills, and social participation.
- Utilize play-based and age-appropriate activities to engage children in therapy sessions and promote skill development in a fun and supportive environment.
- Educate parents, caregivers, and other team members on strategies to support children's progress and carry over therapy goals into daily routines and activities.
- Monitor and document children's progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and communicate effectively with team members to ensure coordinated care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including speech therapists, physical therapists, psychologists, and educators, to provide integrated and holistic care for children.
- Stay current with best practices, research findings, and advancements in pediatric occupational therapy through continuing education and professional development activities.
- Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and other professional forums to discuss children's progress, share insights, and contribute to the overall growth and effectiveness of the clinic.

Qualifications:

- BOT or Master's degree (or equivalent) in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- Experience working with children with developmental delays, sensory processing disorders, autism spectrum disorder, and other pediatric conditions.
- Strong clinical skills in assessment, treatment planning, and intervention implementation.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team and communicate compassionately with children and families.
- Creativity, flexibility, and a positive attitude towards problem-solving and innovation in pediatric therapy.
- Commitment to providing family-centered care and empowering children to reach their full potential.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in documentation and record-keeping.
- CPR certification (preferred).
