- Working towards sustainability of environment by influencing decrease of consumption and generation of by product per tonne of production as well as minimising emissions:

- Managing gaseous emissions emanated from plastic burning and other impurities form PCB smelting & Cu scrap treatment.
- Achieving zero liquid discharge.
- Liaising with statutory authorities
Key Role
- Planning
- Planning for necessary changes in view of recent legislations to drastically reduce emissions and discharge.
- Operation excellence
- Generation and supply of budgeted plant water, soft water, de-mineralised water for consumption at the plant through the operation and maintenance of the WTP, ETP, RO Plant. Sewage treatment and discharge as per specifications the operation of the STP.
- Decreasing expenses incurred on WTP/ETP operations.
- Compliance - Getting the unit audited every year by the external environmental auditor for both PCB and Ministry of Environment and file an Environment Statement by 30th September each year declaring emission levels, consumption of raw material and water
- Obtaining environmental approvals, and ensuring continuous compliance.
- Monitoring and improving performance of team members
- Ensuring that WTP/ETP/RO teams are trained through specialised agencies and nominated for training at IITs to understand best practices
- Ensuring environmental training for operations team and engineers

**Qualifications**:
Under Graduate,Master in Environmental Sci.

**Minimum Experience Level**:
8-15 Years
