**Qualification**:

- ITI in Welder Trade
- IRS (Indian Register of Shipping) Qualified Welder (mandatory)

**Experience**:

- Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in welding within the shipbuilding or heavy fabrication industry.
- Perform welding tasks as per technical drawings and shipyard standards.
- Carry out structural and pipeline welding (MMAW, GMAW, FCAW, etc.) on marine vessels.
- Ensure compliance with IRS welding procedures and quality standards.
- Conduct routine inspections and repairs of welded components.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain equipment in good working condition.
- Ability to read welding symbols and engineering drawings.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of welding codes and standards.
- Good physical condition and attention to detail.
- Capable of working under tight timelines and harsh conditions.
