Game Designer

**Job Details**:

- Position: Game Designer
- Employment Type: Permanent Full-time
- Location: Bangalore, India (in office)
- Reporting To: Lead Designer or Lead PM
- You will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and optimizing game features for our new mobile F2P shooter game and other games we develop in the future.
- You will Iterate and design innovative features for our game projects based on your deep understanding of game features and your creativity.
- You will collaborate with talented artists, programmers, and other designers to bring new concepts to life and refine existing game mechanics.

**Responsibilities**:

- ** Design Specifications**:

- ** Clear and Complete Writing**: Write clear, concise, and straightforward prose that fully defines and describes game features for engineers to implement.
- ** Visuals**: Create wireframes and mock-ups to communicate game feature concepts effectively and easily to our engineering team.
- ** Why?**: Develop and document clearly why every feature you design exists and how it helps enhance the player game experience.
- ** All Design Requirements**: Follow up and ensure design specs contain ALL relevant information, art, sound, data, and data formats engineers will need to complete design implementation.
- ** Game Depth**:

- Immerse yourself in our game and become its most dedicated player within the company. Gain a comprehensive knowledge of every detail, allowing you to offer specific improvements consistently.
- Deeply understand our game genre (extraction shooter) and competitive games. Fully understand all major shooter games and their features.

**Qualifications**:

- ** Required Experience**: Any experience is okay to apply. We will determine a fit based on written tests, your resume, and interviews about potential fit. _We will look_ _for someone with a very strong game IQ, high dedication to game design_ _work, extreme proactiveness, and the ability to follow up and follow through on game design features._
- ** Ideal Experience**: A plus is having full-lifecycle experience working on at least two mobile game titles as a feature designer. Prior experience working on a shooter game is also a big plus.
- ** Shooter Depth**: Understanding the elements that make features compelling and their holistic integration into game design. Analyze how specific game features succeed in certain games and comprehend their situational context, as well as when and why they may not work in other games.
- ** Skills**: Proficiency in Figma, Google Presentations, and Google Spreadsheets is a must. Excellent written and verbal communication in English is also a must.
- ** Approach**: Display a highly structured and organized mindset. Maintain an unwavering focus on understanding the complete set of game features, including their interactions and systems, holistically.
- ** Follow up and Follow through**: You need to be a self-starter and follow through on features to completion without requiring constant management.
