**Job Title**: SQL Database Administrator (DBA)
**Location**: Chennai, India (Hybrid)

**Job Type**: Full-time

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Administer, maintain, and support **SQL Server Always-On, Mirroring, and Replication**.
- Implement and manage **backup and recovery** strategies using tools such as **TDP, TSM, and Veeam**.
- Perform **database migrations and upgrades** across different SQL Server versions.
- Create, monitor, and troubleshoot **SQL Server Agent Jobs**.
- Conduct routine **database maintenance activities**, including index rebuilding, statistics updates, and log file management.
- Manage **database files**, ensuring efficient storage utilization and performance optimization.
- Ensure compliance with **database security policies** and best practices.
- Collaborate with **customers, cross-functional teams, and vendors** to resolve requests and incidents.
- Follow and improve **process adherence, process improvements, and knowledge management** initiatives.
- Participate in **problem management** by analyzing root causes and implementing solutions.
- Monitor database health using **SCOM (System Center Operations Manager)**.
- Utilize **PowerShell scripting** for automation and administrative tasks.

**Required Qualifications & Skills**:

- **5+ years of experience** as an SQL Database Administrator.
- Expertise in **SQL Server administration**, including Always-On, Mirroring, and Replication.
- Strong knowledge of **backup and recovery solutions** (TDP, TSM, Veeam).
- Experience with **database migrations and upgrades**.
- Proficiency in **creating and troubleshooting SQL Server Agent Jobs**.
- Familiarity with **database maintenance and optimization techniques**.
- Hands-on experience with **database security policies** and compliance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Experience with **SCOM monitoring** and **PowerShell scripting** is a plus.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate (or equivalent certification).
- Experience working in **large-scale database environments**.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹1,500,000.00 per year
